On 11 April 2024, Ningbo Seetronic Electronic Technology Co., Ltd, has set sail on to a new journey towards the development of company’s operation and management in cooperation with Hyundai Junming Enterprise Management. Attending the first phase of the lean production kick-off meeting were General Manager Hunter Hong, Executive Vice-President Emily Hu, Lean Production Manager Hu Dianji, General Manager of the consulting company Liu Qi, member of the lean project team Liu Huihe and all the staff and employees who enthusiastically witnessing the ceremony.
1. Project Introduction and Background – Executive Vice President Emily Hu
At the beginning of the meeting, Emily Hu, Executive Vice- President, introduced the background of promoting the lean production project and reflected on the various work of each departments. And thus, the company has decided to start the lean production project so as to further enhance the company’s competitiveness.
2. Project Promotion Management – Manager Hu Dianji of Lean Promotion Office
Hu Dianji of the Lean Promotion Office introduced the organizational structure, responsibilities and project implementation plan of the lean production project. This project takes the manufacturing center as the starting point to promote efficiency improvement and team building.
3. Project Promotion Overview – Liu Qi, General Manager of Hyundai Junming Enterprise Management
Mr. Liu Qi of the consulting company introduced the idea of the lean production project. He let us appreciate the new height of management from a new perspective and hope that the idea of lean production can guide us to more excellence!
4. Message from Lean Management Project Team – Lean and Efficiency Improvement
The lean production project were composed of plan and material control special improvement headed by Manager Hu Dianji, assembly workshop efficiency improvement by Supervisor Feng Ning, quality improvement and improvement by Wang Yingchun (agent) and each production workshop 6S management improvement person-in-charge. Each project leaders gave their messages and oath with full of strength and determination. They accepted the challenge to devote themselves to lean change, continue to learn and improve and strive to achieve lean goals.
5. Awarding and Issuance of Appointment
After each project leaders gave their messages and oath with full of strength and determination, Hunter Hong and Emily Hu issued their appointment letter for their reponsible project or respective topic improvement and efficiency improvement. Likewise, Hunter issued the appointment to Hyundai Junming Enterprise Management represented by its General Manger Mr. Liu Qi and a member of the lean project team, Mr. Liu Huihe.
6. Message from the General Manager
General Manager Hunter Hong said in his speech that the current market environment is unpredictable and competition is fierce. “The reason why we introduce lean projects is to learn from the benchmark, learn this lean thinking and summarize and practice our own lean methodology. In the process of lean promotion, I hope that everyone starts from their own will and motivation. Takes lean as a belief, constantly cultivates ourselves and grows while in cultivation to improve and expand the heart of our business. Step by step, let’s do a solid job in every work that we do,” Hong further commented.
7. Collective Oath Taking
The successful convening of this first phase of lean production project marks the official start of the lean management upgrade action. Through this kick-off meeting, the personnel of all departments have a better understanding of lean production and the importance of carrying out lean production work. In the future, the project team members will systematically practice lean improvement with a proactive and attentive attitude and successfully complete the set goals of lean production.
