The SCADF5-V is a compact 5-pin XLR female socket engineered for vertical PCB mounting, designed by Seetronic for applications requiring high packing density and reliable panel-mount installation. Featuring a durable metal mounting flange and steel latch lock mechanism, this connector provides secure mating with a service life exceeding 1,000 mating cycles. Its space-saving footprint (23mm center-to-center spacing) makes it ideal for multi-channel audio and signal equipment where board real estate is at a premium. Installed from the rear of the panel, the SCADF5-V offers a clean, professional front-facing appearance suited to broadcast, pro-audio, and industrial equipment manufacturers.

Assembly Instructions
- Panel Cut-Out Preparation: Prepare the panel cut-out per the drawing specifications (Ø22.00mm mounting hole with two 3.20mm screw holes), ensuring a maximum panel thickness of 3.0mm.
- Rear Mounting Installation: Install the socket from the back of the panel, aligning it with the cut-out before securing.
- Screw Torque Specification: Use ST2.9 self-tapping screws (8mm length) and tighten clockwise to a torque of 0.45 Nm for a secure, vibration-resistant fit.
- PCB Alignment: Reference the PCB cut-out dimensions provided in the drawing to ensure proper pin alignment during vertical PCB mounting.
