Description

The SEBNCM-75UX13 is a true 75Ω BNC male plug connector engineered for high-quality coaxial cable termination in UHD video signal transmission systems. Featuring a reduced-diameter, insulated pin design, this connector delivers low return loss and stable 75Ω characteristic impedance, making it well suited for broadcast, security/CCTV, and professional AV applications. It uses a reliable bayonet locking mechanism for quick and secure mating, and is fully compatible with conventional BNC socket connectors, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. With a copper alloy housing, gold-plated contacts, and a PTFE inner core, the SEBNCM-75UX13 is built for durability and consistent signal performance across more than 1,000 mating cycles.

Key Features

  • True 75Ω Impedance: Reduced outer diameter pins with an insulated design minimize return loss and maintain a true 75Ω characteristic impedance, ideal for UHD video signal transmission.
  • Bayonet Locking System: Quick-lock/unlock bayonet mechanism allows fast, secure, and convenient mating and unmating.
  • Durable Construction: Rated for more than 1,000 mating cycles with an insertion force of ≤ 25 N, ensuring long-term reliable use.

Electrical & Mechanical Specifications

  • Connection Type: BNC, male connector.
  • Contact Resistance: ≤ 3 mΩ (inner contact), ≤ 2 mΩ (outer contact) for minimal signal loss.
  • Rated Voltage: Rated for operation below 50 V.
  • Insulation Strength: Greater than 5 GΩ, ensuring excellent electrical isolation.
  • Compatible Cable OD: Designed for coaxial cables with a 7.3 mm outer diameter.

Material and Environmental Specifications

  • Housing Material: Copper alloy housing with nickel (Ni) plating for corrosion resistance and durability.
  • Contact Material: Copper alloy contacts with gold (Au) plated surfaces for reliable, low-resistance connections.
  • Inner Core: PTFE insulation for stable dielectric performance and impedance control.
  • Operating Temperature Range: Rated for use from -30°C to +80°C, suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor environments.

Dimensions

  • Overall Length: 37.10 ± 0.3 mm.
  • Body Diameter: Ø14.45 ± 0.1 mm at the mating end and Ø14.00 ± 0.1 mm at the boot end.
  • Pin Section Diameter: Ø13.80 ± 0.1 mm, with a mating interface length of 14.00 ± 0.3 mm.

Packaging and Accessories

  • Component Packaging: Each connector is packed 1 pc per bag, including one inner core assembly, one boot, one pin, and one crimp ferrule.
  • Carton Packaging: 40 pcs per inner carton, with 5 inner cartons per master carton, totaling 200 pcs per master carton.
  • Accessories: Supplied as a standalone connector with no additional accessories (no back fastener plate, screws, or nuts included).

Assembly Instructions

  • Step 1 – Prepare the Cable: Thread the coaxial cable through the boot and slide on the crimp ferrule before stripping.
  • Step 2 – Strip the Cable: Strip the cable jacket, shield, and dielectric to the dimensions specified in the drawing (4.0 mm / 5.0 mm / 7.0 mm sections).
  • Step 3 – Crimp the Center Pin: Insert the pin onto the center conductor, seating the pin tail against the internal insulation layer, then crimp with a suitable crimping tool.
  • Step 4 – Insert into the Plug: Thread the prepared cable forward into the BNC male plug body until the pin is fully seated.
  • Step 5 – Crimp the Ferrule: Slide the crimp ferrule forward to the rear of the BNC connector body and crimp the hexagonal section firmly with a crimping tool.
  • Step 6 – Finish Assembly: Push the boot assembly forward until it buckles securely into the BNC male connector, completing the assembly.
