The MP2RX is a slim, mono 1/4″ right-angle plug engineered for reliable, long-term performance in professional audio applications. Built on a sturdy die-cast zinc alloy housing with a chrome-plated finish and nickel-plated brass contacts, the MP2RX combines a compact right-angle profile with a chuck-style clamp sleeve for secure cable retention. Its polished housing design makes cable termination and field assembly straightforward, while its low-profile form factor is ideal for tight cable runs and space-constrained installations. Rated for use up to 50V DC and tested for more than 1,000 mating cycles, the MP2RX is built to withstand repeated use in demanding environments.

Packaging and Accessories

- No Additional Accessories Required: Ships complete and ready for cable termination, with no extra hardware needed.
Assembly Instructions
- Prepare the Cable: Thread the cable through the boot, housing, and insulation tube before stripping.
- Strip to Spec: Strip the cable to the dimensions specified in the datasheet, exposing the shielding layer and signal wire.
- Solder and Secure: Solder the conductor to the insert and secure the cable using the built-in clipboard-style cable clamp.
- Insulate and Cap: Slide the insulation tube over the cable and snap the top cover onto the assembled insert.
- Final Assembly: Tighten the housing clockwise onto the insert component, then tighten the boot clockwise onto the housing to complete assembly.
